About eSORN Web Application
eSORN is a database that contains information regarding all
registered sex offenders in the State of Ohio. The purpose of eSORN is to
provide one location for all Ohioans to learn about sex offenders who live or
work close to their home or their child's school. Additionally, law enforcement
officials can freely share information on registered sex offenders. This
information is maintained by the local county sheriff and is made available to
the public via the Internet.
About Senate Bill 10
Many positive changes to the process of registering sex
offenders and providing this information to the public were made with the
passing of Senate Bill 10 in June of 2007. For detailed information regarding
